Citation Management

EndNote and Zotero are the two popular citation management tools that Library supports.  We recommend UCSF nursing students use Zotero unless students work with faculty for the research projects and faculty prefer to use Endnote.  These two citation management tools can help you organize your personal library, generate in-text citations, and create a reference list in any style of your choice. For UCSF nursing students,  you must use APA the 7th edition for writing your papers.

What can Zotero do for you while you are writing a paper in APA 7th ed style?

1. create your personal database to store articles from various resources (databases, web sites or government documents, etc.)

2. insert in-text citation in APA 7th ed style while you write a paper

3. create a reference list in APA 7th ed style
