Finding books
These books are helpful for understanding the scope of medical education research.
Books are useful but have limitations.
They provide useful background information that is often synthesized by experts to speed those new to a fie
ld to a higher level of understanding.
However, the time from writing to publication means that all books, even the newest editions, will be 3-5 years out of date.
At UCSF the most useful way to find book is to use the UCSF Library Catalog. To do so:
From library.ucsf.edu, find Search and Find tab, then the link to the UCSF Library Catalog
If you are searching by topic, either choose subject or keyword.
