LGBT Health Events in the Bay Area

The UCSF LGBT Resource Center sponsors many LGBT health-related events.

UCSF Chancellor's Awards for GLBT Leadership. Each year the UCSF Chancellor recognizes one member each from UCSF faculty, UCSF staff, and UCSF student, residency, or fellowship programs for leadership in promoting GLBT visibility, mutual respect, understanding, and appreciation of diversity, mentoring, and medical education. LGBTQ Coffee Hour at Parnassus. Thursdays, 3:30-4:30pm Courtyard (Nursing) Cafe. For more information or to make sure the coffee hour is happening in a given week, email JWilson@ucsf.edu.

LGBTQ Meet & Greet at Mission Bay. Fridays at noon, Cafe 24, 2nd Floor, Genentech Hall. For more information contact Waddling@msg.ucsf.edu or Larry.Lariosa@ucsf.edu.

Bent: An LGBTQ Student Social/Support Group. 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, Fall & Winter Quarters, Parnassus campus. Email Larry.Lariosa@ucsf.edu for more info.

Prostate Cancer Support Group for Gay Men & Partners. 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 6-7:30pm, Room B704, Mt. Zion Hospital, 1600 Divisadero. Interested participants should contact Vittorio Cornelli, PsyD, at 415-476-0468 or by email at ComelliV@medsch.ucsf.edu.
