Collaborate Terminology

Moderators have access to all session features. The person conducting a session, such as a teacher, is typically the Moderator.

Participants have restricted access to system features. Students are typically Participants.

Blackboard Collaborate @ UCSF

Collaborate sessions are created in UCSF CLE courses and can be used for a wide range of synchronous and asynchronous activities. Visit courses.ucsf.edu to begin using Collaborate at UCSF today. Support and documentation is now available for using Collaborate and the CLE in the Moderator Guide tab above.
